Babywearing Professional Development Day

Saturday 16th May 2020, Staveley (nr Kendal)

I’m looking forward to hosting KahuBaby’s third professional development day for babywearing educators! As with our events last year, this will be a fun, interactive day for learning from other babywearing consultants and educators. Sling library volunteers are welcome too, as we can all learn from each other regardless of our role in the baby carrying world. There’s lots of time too for catching up with old and new friends, and for trying out different wraps and baby carriers.

The event is Saturday 16th May. We’re holding the professional development day in Staveley, near Kendal in the Lake District. The day starts at 10am with cups of tea, and ends at 4pm. The morning will be largely informal chat and an opportunity to meet other babywearing educators. The afternoon will include two talks from colleagues in the babywearing industry, with topics to be confirmed!

As with our previous babywearing educator days in 2019, we’re expecting babywearing consultants and sling libraries to join us all over the North West of England and further afield from all corners of the UK.

The event is at Staveley Pavillion, Stavely. The venue is just a few minutes’ walk from the train platform, has free car parking, and is close to cafes and pubs. There’s also lots of accommodation available in nearby Kendal.

Tickets for the day are just £8, and you can order yours here.
